PALAESTRA GYMNASTICS TRAINING
7 Thru 15 Yrs.
Movement Education Ratio: 1:8
|
| This program is based on a
progressive skill system. Students work at their own pace. Advancement to a
higher skill is done only when the student shows efficiency and consistency of the current
skill. The instructor follows a skill sheet and records the student's achievements
throughout the student's years at The Palaestra. It is normal with Developmental
Gymnastics to observe a wide variety of movements and skill levels within a class.
The focus is on Individualism and Movement not on standardization and perfection.
Games, music and creative teaching methods are important for these classes. |
