Preschool gymnastics classes are for children crawling to 6 years. The program focuses on creating a fun, safe, and energetic environment that fosters gross motor developmental growth and basic gymnastics skills.

Our recreational developmental gymnastics classes are for children 7 to 18 years old. We focus on creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment that guides each athlete through beginner to advanced gymnastics, trampoline, and tumbling skills.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Becki's Babies

classes introduce infants/toddlers and their parents to the gymnastics facility, and build comfort for developing gross motor, fine motor, speech/language, social, and gymnastics skills.

 

 

 

 

 

Ages: crawling to 2 years

45 minute class 1x/week

Chariots Challenge

classes are for the toddler who is ready for a more structured learning environment and willing to be without the parent.  A creative fast moving class in which the child is guided through basic skills of developmental gymnastics. This class promotes socialization, listening skills, taking turns, and spatial awareness.

Ages: 3-4 years

45 minute class 1x/week

Daredevels

classes are for the child who is ready to explore ALL movement, JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT.  Basic skill progression, coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, core strength, and spatial awareness are all a part of this great class. 

 

Ages: 5-6 years

Unicorns

classes focus on advanced skills and beginner routines of the USA Gymnastics Developmental Programs (women's, men's, trampoline & tumbling).

From this class, your child may be asked to move on to a competitive team.

Athena's Gym Girls 

classes focus on beginner to intermediate skills on all apparatus The Palaestra offers. The class promotes a "have fun, be fit" attitude. 

Age: 7-17 years

Athena's Gym Girls 

(Advanced)

classes focus on advanced skills and beginner routines of the USA Gymnastics Developmental Programs (women's, men's, trampoline & tumbling).

From this class, your child may be asked to move on to a competitive team.

Age: 7-17 years

90 minute class 1x/week

Zeus' Gym Boys 

classes focus on beginner to intermediate skills on the men's apparatus (floor, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, high bar).The class promotes a "have fun, be fit" attitude.

From this class, your child may be asked to move on to a competitive team.

Trojans

(Trampoline & Tumbling) 

classes focuses on beginner to advanced trampoline, tumbling, flexibility, strength, and balance skills. The class promotes a "have fun, be fit" attitude.

EXTRAORDINARY PROGRAMS

Circle Circus

Explorers

This class will focus on fun introductions to the basic circus skills. Each athlete will learn basic aerial silk, lyra, tumbling, flexibility, acrobatics, and hula hoop.

This class will focus on the foundational positions and movements that improve the ease and time it takes to learn new skills on aerial silk, lyra, tumbling, acrobatics, and hula hoop

Skills and Technique

This class is where each athlete will put their foundational positions and movements to good use. We recommend this class be taken with the strength/conditioning class. The athlete will learn new skills and the technique to be able to perform in a showcase at the end of each season (Trophy Week in May).
